Okay - it's not really a smile...I caught him pre-yawn (or pre-gas...can't really remember). But it sure is cute! I'm still waiting for his first smile - any day now hopefully. It will be nice when he starts to interact with us a little, right now he's still a bit of a lump on a log (and really not pulling his weight around the house, geez!! Ha ha!).


We really like this picture because we think it really looks like him...he's always craning his neck to see what's going on around him. Oh - these pic's were all taken while he was in his new bouncy chair...which isn't working quite as well as we'd hoped...he's definitely in the 'pick me up or I'll cry' stage...but tonight we had a bit of a break through when he hung out in the chair for about 25 minutes or so while Mom prepared dinner!

And here is another photo of our boy close up. Still not really sure who he looks like - although we just were looking at a baby photo of Ian today and there is quite a similarity (which is good...we wouldn't want him looking too much like Mom 'cause then he'd look like a girl)!

Jackson is 6 weeks old on Thursday...wow - the time sure passes fast...I can barely 'remember' the craziness of the first couple of weeks.

Our friends Dan and Barbara-Ann just welcomed their new baby boy into the world bright and early this morning - his name is Alexander James Kubb...we can't wait to see him. Congratulation to Dan and BA...and welcome to the world Alexander!
